YOKOHAMA, Japan  Nissan Motor Co. has just pulled the curtain back on a sweeping new strategy that promises a bold mix of electric vehicles (EVs), hybrids, and refreshed internal combustion models rolling out across FY25 and FY26. Alongside its luxury sibling INFINITI, Nissan is doubling down on powertrain diversity, customer-centric innovation, and cutting-edge driving experiences.

The announcement includes a major update to next-generation e-POWER hybrid tech, the return of fan-favorite models like the LEAF, the all-new Micra EV, and the debut of plug-in hybrid SUVs for key global markets like the U.S., Europe, Japan, and Latin America.

“We’re redefining our market approach to meet customer needs with diversified powertrains and exciting new models,” said Guillaume Cartier, Chief Performance Officer at Nissan. “This is how we grow the top line and strengthen the brand worldwide.”

Global Rollout of All-New Models

Over the next 24 months, Nissan and INFINITI will introduce a wave of vehicles tailored to regional preferences. Here's a breakdown:

 United States & Canada

  • All-new Nissan LEAF: Now a sleek crossover with a NACS charging port and 19-inch wheels. 
  • First plug-in hybrid Rogue SUV, adding diversity to Nissan’s best-selling nameplate. 
  • Next-gen Sentra and Pathfinder: Both refreshed to meet evolving market demand. 
  • Fourth-gen Rogue (FY26): Offers e-POWER, ICE, and PHEV variants. 
  • INFINITI QX65: A new crossover coupe inspired by the legendary FX. 
  • Luxury QX60 SUV refresh and QX80 SPORT package.

🇪🇺 Europe

  • All-new Micra EV: A stylish, compact city car co-developed with Renault. 
  • Qashqai with next-gen e-POWER: Enhanced refinement and efficiency. 
  • All-new LEAF: Built on the CMF-EV platform for longer range and improved performance. 
  • All-electric Juke (FY26): A bold compact EV crossover, previewed by the Hyper Punk concept. 

🇯🇵 Japan

  • New LEAF and Kei car: Updated offerings tailored to the local market. 
  • FY26 minivan powered by third-gen e-POWER for families and commercial use. 

 LATAM (Latin America)

  • New subcompact SUV and Versa expansion in FY25. 
  • Frontier/Navara pick-up (FY26): Rugged, tech-enhanced, and ready for the road. 
  • X-Trail with e-POWER to reach new LATAM markets. 
  • INFINITI QX65 added to the mid-size luxury segment.

  • Z NISMO: A performance beast for track enthusiasts.
  • QX60 SUV and QX80 SPORT package.

INFINITI: Luxury Meets Tech

INFINITI will roll out:

  • Refreshed QX60 three-row SUV 
  • All-new QX65: Sporty crossover coupe for luxury seekers 
  • Future EV SUV (FY28) inspired by the Vision QXe concept, to be built in the U.S. 

“We’re just getting started,” said Ivan Espinosa, Chief Planning Officer. “Our next-gen e-POWER, EV launches, and SUV refreshes will redefine what driving feels like.”
